Volunteers are needed now to help plan the Bozeman Public Library’s first annual Children’s Festival of the Book, August 22 – 23, 2008. Anyone interested should plan to attend the brown-bag lunch and informational meeting Thursday, May 29 at 11:30 a.m. in the large Community Meeting Room at the Library. Drinks and dessert provided by the Bozeman Public Library Foundation. If you are not able to attend, contact Cindy Christin at 582-2420 or cchristin at bozeman dot net. If you love children’s literature, this is one event you won’t want to miss.”

BOZEMAN YOUTH INITIATIVE HOLDS OPEN HOUSE

The Bozeman Youth Initiative (BYI) will host an Open House Wednesday, September 17 at 4:00 p.m. at BYI headquarters; 19 North 10th Avenue, Suite 6 (behind On The Rise).

BYI invites anyone in or connected to the Bozeman youth community who wants to learn more about new programs launching this fall to enjoy free pizza, and meet and greet with BYI board and staff. BYI is starting a new Bike Club, Arts and Events programs, recruiting board members, and seeking ideas from youth for projects to fund that will make a positive impact on Bozeman.

The Bozeman Youth Initiative is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities through mentoring youth-driven, adult-supported programs that help youth work toward their vision of community and reach their full potential.

- my pc crashed and has some fake antivirus software that was not downloaded by me
- that software is ruining my pc
- really need it
- only $1,440 with iWork pre-installed and on the Apple Education Discount
(iWork is Microsoft office for Apple computers)
- I need it mostly 4 school

Someone hacked my webcam?? And the light doesn’t even come on?

I am using windows 7 and here s the deal, there is this site I visited, it’s a forum and chat and I got into an argument with this girl, and now she can access everything from my webcam to browser and sites I visited, things I googled, youtubed and everything, she tells me even what I am doing at the very moment and the funny thing is that the webcam light doesn’t even come on n she can still see me, I have disabled my webcam through hardware settings, so can she still c me ?? Also I do have a good updated norton antivirus, but it doesn’t detect anything. I downloaded landguard gfi to test my network, it showed my network at high risk, I did downloaded all the missing patches for microsoft, apple n all but still shows high risk. I have scanned the computer, did the browser test n everything. I have no idea what to do next. Please help.. And when I am visiting the site n the chat the apple bonjouir app pops up everytime. I think that’s where she entered from, iPhone to computer. Also do u all think can she access my computer even when I am not visiting her site ?? Please help thanks

Children’s Festival of the Book

“On Saturday, August 23, 2008, the Bozeman Public Library will present its first annual Children’s Festival of the Book from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Library in downtown Bozeman. Inspired by the Montana Festival of the Book, the Children’s Festival of the Book intends to take the next step in its effort to serve area families by capitalizing on the Library’s enormously popular children’s program. This one-day event will feature author readings, panel discussions and children’s activities. Joining the festival as the key-note speaker will be celebrated children’s book illustrator Paul O. Zelinsky. The goal of the Festival is to celebrate children’s literature, inspire children of all ages, and instill a life-long love of reading.”

8pm. Colorado’s YONDER MOUNTAIN STRING BAND known for its high-energy,
improvisational live shows, has just released a new live album on the band’s
own Frog Pad Records. This marks the 5th volume in their lauded series of
live albums, Mountain Tracks. Blending bluegrass and rock with traditional
