Ever wonder what it would take to live a sustainable lifestyle in Montana? How your family and community can increase the local foods you eat? What steps Montana could take to make sure our energy comes from renewal sources?

These questions and more will be explored next Tuesday, October 3 at 7pm in Room 106 of the University of Montana's Gallagher Business Building as the the WildWest Institute's fall 2006 Northern Rockies Nature Forum series continues with Visions for a Sustainable Montana.

Panelist for the forum include:

* Josh Slotnik, Garden City Harvest
* Lou Ann Crowly, Missoula Urban Demonstration Project.
* Steve Loken, Alternative Energy Resources Organization
* Larry Evans, Western Montana Mycological Association

The Northern Rockies Nature Forum is a series of community-oriented discussions on the ecology, biodiversity, restoration and future of natural landscapes in the Northern Rockies Bioregion. The forums free and open to the public. The format of the Forums will be short presentations (15 minutes) by each of the speakers followed by an hour of moderated question and answer from the audience.

The Fall 2006 Northern Rockies Nature Forum series continues throughout the fall with: Actualizing Montana's Restoration Economy (Oct 24); Climate Change and the Northern Rockies (Nov 14); and the Future of Wilderness in the Wild Rockies (Dec 5).
