New West Missoula is a community news organization devoted to covering the Garden City and providing a platform for dialogue about our wonderful town.

New West Missoula is operated by the next-generation media company New West Publishing LLC, and is part of the regional online news site NewWest.Net, which you can learn more about here.

New West Missoula is run by a smart (if we do say so ourselves), scrappy group of entrepreneuers who juggle about 10 titles each to keep you informed, entertained and in the know. Most of us work out of a funky office in downtown Missoula, smack in the middle of what we call the Barmuda Triangle (Charlie B’s on one side, Sean Kelley’s and The Old Post on the others) but others are valiant community bloggers, filling our pages with observation, insight and humor.

Sure, it’s a small news staff, but it’s mighty. Led by editor and reporter Robert Struckman the New West News Team primarily focuses on covering the big changes happening in our community, particularly as they relate to growth, development, culture and the economy.

Heard of MissoulaEvents.Net? Yep, that’s us too. It’s led by DJ, front-man, promoter and event guru Colin Hickey. Just by breathing the same air as Colin, we’re about 32 percent cooler. By checking in regularly with Colin at MissoulaEvents.Net, you can be too.
