By Joe Prebich, 10-06-05

And the bidders are off!! Today bidding began on almost 60 skateboard decks that have been painted and customized from utilitarian tools to works of art.

All of this is part of a fundraiser for the new Missoula Skatepark and has brought out some amazing artists and artwork. If you have ever wanted to own a piece of skateboarding then THIS is your chance! Remeber, bidding ends at 5 p.m. MST on Oct. 14, 2005, so get YOUR'S now!

The Missoula Skate Park Organization has been working hard to raise the funds needed to bring in a quality concrete park here for all of Missoula's skateboarders.

In fact, right now they are also giving away a chance to win a Jeep!! These guys don't mess around and are serious about getting the job done. Keep up on all of their fundraising and to learn alittle about their history click here.

Big props to Chris Bacon, president of the Missoula Skatepark Organization for putting in the time and hardwork to make the skatepark possible and also to Edge of the World which has been keeping broke skaters and snowboarders happy for many years!.
