VOTE on TUESDAY, June 3rd
Bozeman’s Primary Elections Guide
By Lucia Stewart, 6-02-08
Voting in Montana primaries is easy. You pick one political party and vote that ballot. And how exciting to be a part of a primary that the entire nation is keening watching.
You don’t have to vote your own party or belong to any party. You just have to follow through and vote just one party’s ballot. (In the general election in November, you’ll be able to mix it up.)
If a primary candidate has no opponent, you can write in a name.
Resources for Montana Primary Voters is a NewWest resource about the candidates on the ballot.
Find your polling place by calling the Gallatin County Elections office at: 582-3060, all of which are open from 7am-8pm.
Not registered? Not a problem.
You can register to vote even on election day at the County Clerk and Recorder’s Office at the Courthouse on 311 W. Main St, between 8am-8pm. Take some kind of identification which has your address. Register, vote and get your “I Voted” sticker. It is traditional to wear the sticker on your lapel all day. It declares your sterling moral character, and reminds other people to vote.
You can print out this registration form and fill it out in advance, but you don’t have to.
Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting.

There is no picture associated with this post other than the one of the 'I voted' sticker. And, the Obama ad is coming in via Google Ads, which we do not control.
The bias of the news service is totally unbelievable!!!
Now that the day is over it is gone. Surprise!!
Let me explain again: That ad comes up as a google ad -- a service we -- and many web sites -- use. The ads are served by google, not by NewWest.Net. We do not choose the ads that show up on what pages, nor do we have a say in which ads appear when. So please don't take offense to the ads displayed in that section.
