Everyone who skis, snowboards or breathes knows about Vail, Aspen, Breckenridge. Drill a little deeper and most will also pull out Jackson, Big Sky, Park City, Alta, Sun Valley, Keystone. We’ve got those big hitters in our inclusive map of ski areas throughout the Rocky Mountain West (Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, New Mexico).

But we’ve also got the details and coordinates on the lesser-known, affordable spots, including Bear Paw in Montana, where you can score a lift ticket for a mere 20 bucks, and Ski Hesperus in southwestern Colorado, where you can ski under stars without the crowds or the hassles.

Pretty Cool! Couple of mistakes I noticed. Ski Sante Fe is about 50 miles off the mark. And Kelly Canyon is in the wrong spot.

Thanks for the map, Team. This is a great resource, especially for finding lesser-known ski spots. A couple things I noticed: Moonlight Basin seems to have slipped through the cracks, which might be tough to mark since it shares Lone Peak with Big Sky.

And, I hate to be That Guy, but my spelling compulsion is forcing me to point out that, as far as I can tell, the first sentence should read: "Everyone who skis..." but I could be wrong.

Thanks for pointing out more ski areas we missed. Meadowlark is now on the map, and Moonlight is there, but hard to find by it's icon. Try zooming in close, or check out the sidebar on the full size map.
