- The Flathead Beacon reports this morning that Montana's real estate market took a hit in 2007, though it did not suffer nearly as much as some other states. And while Realtors and economists anticipate some slowdowns and “market corrections” in 2008, most remain bullish about real estate -- particularly in Northwest Montana.
- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Tuesday named five Montanans to help him build grass-roots support and raise money for his campaign, the Billings Gazette reports.
- Missoula Mayor John Engen is turning in his Toyota Prius for a Mercury Mariner Hybrid, the Missoulian reports. "...the mayor is a big guy, and the Prius is a small car. Too small."
