I played old school ball at Boise State in '80 (national champs 1AA) and started as a nose guard in the 95-96-97 seasons as a Rocky Mountain Reaper in the semi-pro league in Denver. We played for the love of the game and we kicked the shit out of each other. Yes, my back is broken and my fingers are crooked. That is called "paying the price".
I have not watched a pro game in two years. These kids are overpaid cry-babies with sand in their vaginas. The sense of entitlement makes me want to puke, but this problem isn't limited to football, it's across the board with these lazy-ass-whats in it for me- Gen-Xers.
BTW-Old school football boring??? Kindly go fuck yourselves- you know nothing about the spirit of the game.
Where did you play ball Chip? Madden '07 don't count.....
For the record-OPINIONS are just like assholes-we all got 'em and they all stink.
I do apologize for offending your delicate sensibilities, but I did say “kindly”.
You know what kills me? If you guys ever met and got to know one another, you'd definitely hit it off. You're two of the sharpest guitar players I've had the pleasure of sharing a stage with, and even though you're cut from different cloth, you both have a lot more in common than you know.
You are all correct. I have been whining and as Bob can attest, there has never been a point in my life that I have ever displayed even the smallest amount of class. Bob I apologize. Oh GM, you’re right about your Joe Mt. I used him and I used him good. But you should have checked your toothbrush as well.
I agree with Bob. Sportsman in America have gone way over the top these days with all the chest beating and showboating. It's embarrasing.
I would like to encourage everyone to look into the sport of rugby... where the players refer to the referee as "sir" and he still has the final word. A game that teaches real teamwork...because how can you work as a team, when two guys are the only ones to touch the ball? Rugby is also a game that demands fitness AND strengh. I don't know how you can refer to any of these 400lb lineman as "Athletes"?
Look into it.
