Meth Film Airs Tonight In Oregon
By Joseph Friedrichs, 10-09-07
A documentary about the dangers, impact and often devastating results from using methamphetamine will be broadcast tonight on 25 television stations, including Central Oregon’s KTVZ.
The program, titled Crystal Darkness, will run for 30 commercial-free minutes and begins at 7:30 p.m. Most of the film was shot in Oregon, though the message certainly travels beyond the state. The hope behind the documentary is to show real-life footage of those addicted to, affected by and working against crystal meth, according to the film’s Web site.
Because the film was shot in our state and the meth problem is increasingly getting worse in Central Oregon, we suggest taking 30 minutes to watch this film.
