Peter O'Brien
Boise resident Peter O’Brien disappeared Thursday evening April 2nd from the area of Camel’s Back Park in north Boise, near the Hyde Park neighborhood where he lives.
O’Brien, father of two boys, was a familiar figure in Hyde Park, where he often works on his laptop in coffee shops, and takes walks in the park.
O’Brien is in his mid-40s, is 5’8” tall and 160 pounds, and has short black hair. He speaks with a New Zealand accent.
His brother-in-law, Jonathan Oppenheimer, a well-known executive with the Idaho Conservation League, says there are no clues why O’Brien has vanished. “He wasn’t tied up with bad people. There were no signs of anything that would have hinted this was coming.”
Oppenheimer and the family have sent out this flyer with specific information, and are asking the public to print and post as many as possible.
If you’ve seen O’Brien, or have any clues from last Thursday, please call the tip voicemail line at 208-936-2722, or the Boise Police Department at 208-377-6790.
