I'll tell you why he's running. To give people a real choice. He understands that both parties have sold out to corporate interests and he's doing his best to let people know that the candidates they're left with aren't much different. I feel sorry for the people who sit around hoping the Democrats will do the right thing if they're elected. Rather than hoping the Democrats will do the right thing, or waiting for them to talk about a few of the monumental issues this country is facing (food crisis, flailing economy, war in Iraq, et. al) I'm going to put my support behind Ralph Nader, because he just wants a true democracy in this country. While the rest of the country will be innundated with the dumbed-down mass media blurbs about Obama's former minister or Hillary firing back beers, I'll be working with Mr. Nader trying to solve real issues.

Mr. Nader garners enough support to make it on the ballot in nearly every state, that means enough of your fellow Americans think what he has to say and what he intends to do is uber important to them. It's not easy to choose to vote your issues, it's certainly not easy to stand against the flood of misplaced anger. It is however our right and in fact our responsibility. H&O;can't even seem to withstand relative slights of politeness or accusations of a misspoken phrase, could your candidate withstand what Mr. Nader and those who support him has? Has any one of them championed as many humanitarian and public service programs? Nader-Gonzalez may not be pretty, dressed by image consultants, and they don't have million dollar legal teams to plan their every move, and they don't have award winning speech writers and aides planning and monitoring their every word. They are experienced, they know the issues and they have a plan. As an American and even as a human being in America in these times, you owe it to yourself, your family, your community and your country to take the time, to make the time to listen to every candidate that you can before you make a decision on who will be running our country, about who will be the face we put out to the world on our behalf. 400,000+ people voted for him in 2004, in 2000 he received 2,883,105 and in '96 650,000+. That's an awful lot of registered voters taking the time to make that tough decision, don't you think you should at least listen?
