New West Images is a blog that highlights the best photography from the West's best photographers and photo-bloggers. So your contributions aren't merely "welcomed," they're absolutely essential. They're the whole point.

The easiest way to contribute is to submit your photos to the New West group on FLICKR.com. FLICKR.com is the largest community of photographers on the planet and the coolest playground for photographers and photo lovers on the Web. New West is proud to have been a part of this community since our launch in 2005. Every day we select an image from the New West group on FLICKR to feature on our home page, and over the past two years we have featured the work of over 400 different western photogs.

How to Join FLICKR and Post to the New West Images group

• Signup for FLICKR: A basic photoblogging account on FLICKR is free, and if you already have an account with Yahoo!, you're ready to go. If you're already a member of FLICKR or have a Yahoo! account, go to the FLICKR front page and sign in. Otherwise, go to the FLICKR home page and click "Sign in" and then "Sign up" on the next page to create your Yahoo ID.
• Post Photos to our Group: Once you've signed up and you've posted photos to FLICKR, visit the New West group page and click "Join this Group?". Once you've joined the group, you can add photos to the group by clicking the "Send to Group" button located above your individual photos and choosing the New West group. You can post up to three images a day.
