Arlee Larsen waits for a ride from her grandmother outside of her friend’s trailer home. Larsen, 25, often stays with her friend on weekdays in order to be closer to the University of Montana in Missoula, where she is pursuing a degree in social work. "I've worked countless minimum wage jobs," she said, "but I could never pay all of my bills.
