New West and the New West Snowblog present FreezeFrame, our first winter video contest. Film your backcountry turns and tricks, snowball fights, sled runs, snow angels and snowmen, wildlife, wintry skits -- anything that will make Westerners bust a gut, drop a jaw, or lace up their boots and get outside. You've got 60 seconds to capture winter in the Rockies.
So start shootin' for your shot at a complete ski, spa and stay package at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana -- a $1,200 value -- and free stuff from REI, courtesy of REI Missoula.
The best videos will be aired at the 2007 Cold Smoke Awards in Bozeman, Montana, an annual showcase of the region's best winter sports films.
