Statehouse Reporters Parade Their Worst

Ugly Tie Fashion Show

There’s a tradition at the Idaho Statehouse that when the three-month session goes into overtime, reporters encourage adjournment by wearing hideous neckties.  It’s unclear if this brutal act of defiance has ever had the desired effect, but it’s fun to watch the fashion show.

If 3 months is the tradition, somebody is jumping the gun. The legislature hasn't been in session that long.

You haven't seen anything until you've seen Adrien Tayor's collection of ugly ties. At his retirement party at BSU (Adrien is a recently retired BSU librarian) someone had raided his closet and put up a ceiling to floor display that was something to behold!
