"The Historic Conrad Mansion in Kalispell Will Be the Site of a Delicious Murder Mystery."

Kalispell’s historic Conrad Mansion presents a night of elegance, haute cuisine and—gasp!— MURDER, for its 5th Annual Death by Chocolate fundraising murder mystery this Saturday, May 6th from 7-10 P.M. Guests will enjoy lots of locally-donated hors d’oeuvres, wine, microbrews, and of course, chocolate desserts as they solve the evening’s mystery of “Who Killed Conrad?”

The Conrad Mansion is one of Kalispell’s most interesting historical buildings. It sits on three beautifully landscaped acres in East Kalispell and is characterized by its arches, long gables, bay windows and massive stone chimneys. Completed in 1895, it is now a Museum that helps tell the story of Kalispell and the Flathead Valley.

Death by Chocolate promises to be a hoot, with Mae West, Clark Gable and Scarlet O’Hara headlining as a few of the famous stars with a motive in the murder mystery that is a favorite among local history (and murder) junkies. Evening gowns and formal wear are the attire of the evening, or dress as your favorite star of the stage or screen. Tickets are $55 each or $100 per couple, and it’s well worth ponying up the cash—money from DBC will go toward a new electrical system for the Mansion. Call 406.755.2166 for tickets.
