Montanan Protests Obama with Manure

By Matthew Frank, 11-04-08

Only in Montana.

A Whitehall man parked a load of manure across the street from the Democratic campaign office there to protest presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

From the AP

Terry Reed, who owns a construction and excavation company in Whitehall, parked the trailer near the office on Saturday. He also posted a sign in the manure mocking Obama’s “change we can believe in” slogan as “a load of crap.”

“I think Obama’s plan is just one big old poop sandwich and we’re all going to have to take a bite,” he said.

Suzanne Molyneaux, the Obama campaign’s election team leader in Whitehall, said traffic came to a near standstill as people stopped to take pictures of the trailer.

Montanans should be embarrassed by the number of anti-intellectuals running around the state...

And does mr. reed think that an old freeze dried rightwing geezer like McCain represents change?? I'd say he's got it backasswards!

Comment By TCWriter, 11-04-08

We've been force-fed manure for the past eight years; Mr. Reed's trailer should have been parked on Pennsylvania Ave.

Actually, Larry, Mr. Reed has said he is not a huge fan of McCain either. And, for those who fear the lack of intellect running around our state, I fear the lack running around our whole country....anyone who actually thinks Obama can score on all of his golden promises is seriously foolish and naive.

Well then, mellow, why didn't mr. reed go to McCain's office? Backasswards and I'm stickin' with it. And, yellow, if O'Bama scores on HALF of his promises, that'll be better than four more years of McBush! I think the country's got this one figured out. Mr. reed is a typical rightwinger. He's unable to argue intelligently, so he relies on sh*t. Hey, you know the guy? Tell him to come on and we'll SEE just how intelligent mr. manure is.

Agreed Mellow Yellow. I can't believe some people actually think that Obama will 'pay their Mortgage' and keep the gas so they can afford it. Lest everyone forgets. Colin Powell is the one that convinced the 'world' there were WMD's and because of Colin Powell's testimony, the Majority of all involved Agreed to the invasion. Barney Frank has a HUGE hand in the financial mess, along with Dodd. How can raising taxes on ANYONE, without cutting the spending help?

Comment By Mellow Yellow, 11-04-08

Well, Larry. That would probably be because Whitehall doesn't have a McCain office.

Ya know, mellow, if this reed fella had ANY cojones at all, he'd a just gone over the hill to BUTTE! Now THEN, he could'a made a real statement! Guess he didn't have the nuts for that though, did he! Even I would'a been impressed!.........if he survived. And it AIN'T that far of a drive. Oh well, better to be a big fish in a small town than an honest to God HERO, right?!

Last night at the McCain rally in Prescott, McCain stated that he would freeze house prices and keep them from falling. In the split second between his ending and the applause he was expecting, I yelled at the top of my lungs:
"You can't price fix. That's socialism!"
There was not a hint of applause within earshot of me. It was dead silent for 50 to 100' in every direction. People gave me weird looks...not dirty looks, but looks like they knew the charade was up.
I also found that if you start yelling 'Alaskan Independence Party' anytime McCain talks about how awesome he thinks Todd Palin is people get really embarrased to clap as well.
And further, when McCain and the other speakers tried to tell us how awesome Republicans are, I tried to start a chant of "Renzi, Renzi, Renzi..." No one joined me.
I'd like to think I spread a little manure McCain's way, one westerner to another.

And, flounder, I'd like for mr. reed to show up on this site! We'd see if he's as quick with his mouth as he is with the sh*t! I suspect not. I suspect that if he didn't have O'Lielly's guide to lying talking points in hand, the ONLY thing he'd have left to recommend him would be his pile of sh*t! Very typical of them type of fellas.

What I MEANT to say is he as quick with his wit as he is with his sh*t! How bout it, reed? Let's dance.
