Concert n’ Jam Session: Shane Clouse, Tom Catmull, and More

Montana Matters, a collaboration between the International Wildlife Film Festival/Media Center and the Montana Wildlife Federation, will put on a benefit concert and jam session featuring headliner Shane Clouse and other top Montana musicians, including Tom Catmull, John Floridis, Jack Gladstone, Jess Kilroy and Bob Wire.

-- Missoula native and country music star Shane Clouse will be the headliner for “Songs of Montana,” a concert and jam session Friday, September 18 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) at the Wilma Theater in Missoula. The event is a public debut for Montana Matters, a group that aims to promote “the value, visibility, awareness and stewardship of Montana’s wildlife and wildlife habitat.”

--The International Wildlife Media Center & Film Festival works to advance awareness and understanding of wildlife, people and nature through film and other media. The Montana Wildlife Federation, the state’s oldest and largest conservation organization, is dedicated to protecting and enhancing Montana’s wildlife, lands, waters, and hunting and fishing traditions.

-- Clouse’s latest solo CD, “Good Things Going On,” will be released this fall. He recently released “Songs of Montana,” a compilation of songs donated by Montana artists to benefit the Montana Matters campaign.

Tickets for Songs of Montana are $15 for the general public, $10 for students, and $50 for a reserved seat that includes a wine reception with the artists and an autographed CD.
