Geothermal Scholar to Discuss Renewable Energy Resources

At a time when gas prices are going through the roof and everyone wants a piece of the pie that is alternate energy, Dr. John Lund, director of the Geo-Heat Center in Klamath Falls, OR and president of the International Geothermal Association will speak at Fairmont Hot Springs resort on Thursday, May 18. His talk will focus on direct uses of the earth's heat, including greenhouses, aquaculture and space heating. Dr. Lund has traveled the world studying geothermal resources and applications and will share his experiences with the working group. The newly formed Montana Geothermal Working Group will be hosting the event, and the public can come for $15.

The Montana Geothermal Working Group is made up of owners and managers of geothermal resources, and others interested in geothermal and renewable energy issues.
