Temira Wagonfeld windsurfed semi-professionally in the Gorge and Maui until she realized that windsurfing doesn't pay the bills. Her search for work led her to Japan for a year, where she learned the true value of living in the Gorge. Temira's love of windsurfing led her to write for various windsurfing publications, and her love of Hood River motivates her to write about the issues affecting the Gorge community. She can be found at local coffeeshops researching articles for her "Cafe Correspondant, Naked Wisdom" series.
