David Nolt is a writer and photographer out of Livingston, Montana. He was born in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota, but when he was three-months old his father followed a lifelong dream and moved his family to Montana. After stints in Lewistown and Bigfork, the Nolts moved back to his folks’ home state of South Dakota, though the family all eventually ended up back in Montana. David attended two years at Montana State University in Bozeman, but received his degree in photojournalism from the University of Montana in his second home of Missoula.
Mediocre fly-fisherman, snowboarder and devoted rambler, David revels in all things Montana -- especially the ever-changing weather. When he isn't working for NewWest.Net or waiting tables, David can be found shooting hoops, obsessing over music or kickin’ it with his five beautiful nieces and nephews.
