Carson Bennett is a writer, teacher, skier, rock climber and backpacker from Colorado, currently living in New Mexico. Carson recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with a MFA in creative nonfiction writing. He currently teaches writing at UNM and the Art Center Design College. Although his heart is still at home in the Rockies, the Sangre de Cristos and San Juans have grown on him during his time in the Southwest. Carson is allergic to flat places, and becomes physically ill when he’s more than a few hour’s drive from high country.
