Western Wine Adventures
Paul Hosefros
In one of Paul's more ignoble photographic moments, he stepped on a certain former Texas president's dog's foot. Not good.

After an unremarkable beginning in Pennsylvania, Paul had the good fortune to move to Manhattan. As in New York City. After graduating from NYU with a degree in English, and a stint on the NYU paper, and another stint at the hapless but wonderful Herald Tribune, he was hired by the New York Times as a copyboy. After a time, he ended up on the Picture Desk, where caption writing was one of his tasks, and eventually became totally taken to the dark side, as a photographer. Remarkably, he subsequently has photographed people and places around the world, including Queen Elizabeth II and Idi Amin. Fire, plague, earthquakes, floods, plane crashes, war zones, the arts, fashion, food and politics rounded out the experience, which was mostly lived out in Washington, D.C. There, he principally covered the White House and Congress, Pentagon and State Department. He has received numerous awards and has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. Hosefros and his family have been living in Boise (where his wife, Gaye, grew up) for four years.
Now, in addition to flying, he has finally begun to learn how to fly fish. The trout, so far, are not impressed.
