Mollie Fager

Writer, dancer, actress, executive director of The Dairy Center for the Arts

Although originally from the south, Fager attended high school, college and graduate school in Colorado. She graduated from CU-Boulder in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Women Studies. She received her Master's in Business Administration, with an emphasis in non-profit management, from CU-Denver in 1999. Fager has built her career in non-profit management from human services work and the environment to the arts. She is currently the executive director for The Dairy Center for the Arts, a local community arts center serving Boulder County and the surrounding communities.

Personally, Fager has been actively involved in the arts as a writer, dancer and actress. She has been an avid writer since the age of ten and was awarded numerous young adult writing awards. She danced in Denver with the Colorado State Ballet (absorbed by the Colorado Ballet in the early 90s) as an apprentice to the company from 1984-86 and also with the Stan Picus Dance Company in 1986. She performed in community theater throughout high school and studied two years of dramatic acting at CU Boulder from 1988-1990.
