Greg Lemon is a somewhat redeemed redneck and spin fisherman from Eastern Oregon, who ended up in Missoula seven years ago hoping to acquire a taste for microbrews, a firefighting job and a good roll-cast. He ended up in the graduate program at the University of Montana's J-School. He has spent the last four years as a newspaper reporter and freelance journalist. In addition to NewWest.Net, Lemon is writing for the Bitterroot Star and has just published a biography of Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer, titled Blue Man in a Red State: Montana's Governor Brian Schweitzer and the New Western Populism.
