About Us: Walking Stick Toys is a Mama-owned family toy store in Missoula, Montana. The goal of Walking Stick Toys is to provide specialty toys that are environmentally friendly, as well as healthy for your child's stimulation. Our toys are made from cotton, wool, silk, and wood. There are many advantages to using natural resources to make toys, the most important being natural toys are healthy toys for your children.
Wood is naturally germ-free and nearly indestructible. Wool can hold warmth for long periods of time to make your child's wool toys more cuddly and desirable. Silk is a very durable (although not commonly known) material that is a good creative toy for all ages, silk is perfect for dress-up (for your older children) and texture (for your babies). And of course organic cotton ensures you that absolutely no pesticides or chemicals have been used through the entire production process and it is as soft and pure as can be for children of all ages.
Our selection of toys is ever changing. We have a wide array of infant toys to entertain your littlest children as well as unique toddler toys for your curious toddler. We try to keep the selection fresh and are proud of the fact that we carry organic baby toys and soft toys to complement our wooden toys. We've been trying to expand our toy selection for older children and have several games and dress-up clothes that might appeal to them as well as our wooden doll houses and dollhouse furniture; we feel toys such as these are wonderful creative toys for any age.
Some of our toys are locally made and those that aren't we've carefully selected from across the globe. Our toys enhance creativity and encourage imagination and are tried and tested right in our toy store on Higgins Avenue by the most important target group, our children.
