Ahorn, Skyland and Fool Creek Fires: Sept. 3 Update

This is the latest update from the Bob Marshall Join Information Center, which is dealing with the Ahorn, Fool Creek, Conger Creek and Skyland Fires.

Here’s the quick breakdown:
Ahorn Fire: 51,654 acres, 20 percent contained. Red-Flag warning in effect Monday on Ahorn, Fool Creek and Skyland Fires. Stoner place and Benchmark are still evacuated, areas around Gibson Reservoir are still on pre-evacuation notices.
Fool Creek Fire: 57,970 acres, 30 percent contained.
Skyland Fire: 45,760, 75 percent contained.
Conger Creek: 21,900 acres, 0 percent contained. (fire weather watch is in effect on this fire.
