Boise Election Results: All Incumbents Win

Boise’s Tuesday election resulted in a win for all the running incumbents, including the race for mayor.
The results:
Boise Mayor Dave Bieter beat candidate Jim Tibbs with 64 percent of the votes.
Boise City Council, Seat 1, goes to incumbent Alan Shealy, who beat Steven Kimball and Frances Wray with 55 percent of the votes.
Boise City Council, Seat 3, goes to incumbent David Eberle, who beat Redgie Bigham and Marlene Smith with 66 percent of the votes
Boise City Council, Seat 5, goes to incumbent Elaine Clegg, who beat Carol Wingate with 66 percent of the votes.
Other winners:
Meridian Mayor: Tammy De Weerd
Star Mayor: Nathan Mitchell
Kuna Mayor: Scott Dowdy
Eagle will hold a run-off election for mayor between Phil Bandy and Saundra McDavid.
