A temporary road closure is still in effect for the areas of the Flathead National Forest in the vicinity of the Brush Creek Fire, due to concerns for public safety. Heavy equipment is working in the fire area and burned trees are falling without warning. The closure includes Brush and Sheppard Creek drainages, and portions of Good and Little Wolf Creek drainages. Owners, lessees, and residents are exempt from this closure but should be extremely cautious of fire traffic and trees falling in the roadway.
