Global Weirding, A report from a Bozeman Skier
By FuMa, Unfiltered 2-07-07
A close friend was alarmed to hear that I was still in the State when he got a call last night...."But why are you here?"
Alluding to my gypsy like sensitivity to regional snowpack varitaion.
"I't was good last week"....Feburary opened with five days of snowfall.
Its all base now with the yesterday's slush pack being turned into hardpack, by temperatures returing to the teens.
However, it makes it easier to miss all the rocks if your skis do not enter into the snow.
We'll be seeing the same six skiers at Bridger that never miss a day. Total circus for three days of powder then back
to the locals hill.
Some how the solitude on the mountain makes up for the manky snow....sort of.
